About
Consulting with Purpose
Rami Kleinmann is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (CFHU) and founder of the Genius 100 Foundation. He works strategically with leaders in the public, private and non-profit sectors to facilitate scientific and humanitarian partnerships.
Under his leadership, CFHU has been instrumental in the creation of numerous high-profile collaborations, including partnerships that foster joint biomedical research between top Canadian and Israeli scientists; programs that bring Hebrew University experts into under-served, Israeli neighborhoods to teach children hands-on biology, physics, and chemistry; and cultural initiatives that recognize those who embody the University’s mission to promote knowledge and understanding. As the founder of the Genius 100 Visions, Mr. Kleinmann created comprehensive initiatives designed to recognize the greatest minds and innovators of our time. He oversaw all aspects of the project’s far-reaching activities, including: the building of the Einstein House/Museum; the first-ever 3D-printed book entitled Genius: 100 Visions of the Future; the Next Einstein Competition – an international program that encouraged innovative thinkers to develop big ideas for improving the world; and Einstein 3D, an IMAX movie that captured the story of Einstein, the origin and meaning of his ideas, and the promises they hold for humankind.
Mr. Kleinmann travels worldwide to help institutions build effective philanthropic partnerships. He has been published in the Jerusalem Post, Status Magazine and TheMarker. His views on fundraising have received extensive coverage in Israeli business media, as well as top international financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal.
He teaches a graduate course in non-profit management and leadership at Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School and has spoken at conferences on innovation in the nonprofit sector. He is currently co-authoring a book on the art of philanthropy.
